10 minutes walking to Victoria train and coach station. Old buildining but common toilets and shower clean and in good condition. Tasty croisants in breakfast.
the decor was very dated and the hotel didnt smell all that good. a bit of money shud be spent on a refurb. and a plug socket was faulty in my room. but location was good as i only had to travel two tube stops to get to where i wanted to travel to. overall i give a 2.5/5 which is pretty fair
Without a doubt the worst hotel I've stayed in, room smelt old and musty, nasty !
You get what you paid for... Perfect for single travelers, who just want to spend the night somewhere.
This hotel is great for people who only wish to sleep on the premises. The bed was comfy and clean, though the room was tiny. Unfortunately the toilets, due to overflow from the adjacent shower, were almost permanently under water. Therefore, take wellies! Did mention the problem at reception, so may be dealt with now. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It seems to me this used to be student accomodation. There is a small park with trees just outside, so very quiet. It's very central, so good location.
Very nice hotel, old but clean. Very friendly atmosphere. Good location. Good breakfast.
The Wellington is more of a hostel than a hotel (and since it is an ex and unmodified student hall of residence that is really what it is). The rooms are tired and basic. Breakfast is reminiscent of being in a boarding school ! You might not find anywhere cheaper in central London, but if you're coming from overseas you need to know that the price you pay here would get you a much better hotel in Barcelona, Paris, Venice,...
great value for money hotel very basic but clean decent breakfast good location!
A very nice stay. My only complaint is that the wake-up call I ordered never happened. Good thing I set my watch alarm.
Stayed here for two nights. The hotel and the room was clean and the staff were friendly. We were very tired after one days shopping and wanted to go to bed early. From the room next to ours there were music and high voices but it was no problem to get a new "quiet" room, a big thanks for that!
Not so bad to stay for a short time
Average breakfast, clean rooms, dirty toilets and showers (shared). Excelent location.
Good location to Victoria Station in a quite, pleasant neighbourhood and well priced for London. I only used it as an 'overnighter' but it is old and overdue for refurbishment. No lift and no staff to assist. I was up early and left to meet a Trafalgar tour before breakfast was available.
Basic hotel with mainly student guests.
To walk out of the front door and see a picturesque cricket ground is my ideal location!
Generally, the Wellington Hotel is a good hotel for people travelling on a budget in London. It is furthermore centrally located and makes it easy to go into Central London either on foot or by the tube.
