Very tired and dated but clean. No beach views but close to beach. Chose a back room after reading other reviews and didn't get road noise. Had to walk through one bedroom to get to the rest of the apartment. also had to walk up a set of outdoor steps to get to the upper storey room. Coles supermarket nearby. Wouldn't stay again.

Terrible place to get a nights sleep! The plumbing from all the apartments clonks all night. Especially bad from 4am onwards. The hot water system bangs when turned off, very loud throughout. Rusty balcony setting, uncomfortable lounge, very dated and dodgy bathroom. VERY poor. You would only stay here as its real cheap on the beach, but you dont get a view of the beach as its situated behind the other hotels.The bed was comfortable enough, but all the taps banging woke me up at 4am anyway. It was a one bedroom apartment. Would not stay here again.
This is the second time we have stayed at the West Beach Lagoon Apartments. Both times we have found it clean, comfortable, affordable and excellently located. We will be back.
Bathroom is really bad (70's style). Eihter you burn your skin or the water is cold..nothing in between. The room was not really clean and the wall in the bedroom was mold-infested.
Road noise very bad.Shower and bathroom very old.Stairs hard with luggage.But pool area nice.
Great location, will use again. Close to best beaches, walking paths, shops & cafe's.

Very nice Hotel, great location & friendly helpful staff. We stayed in a refurbished spa apartment, it was huge! Apartment was very well appointed, pool area was very pleasant.
We were given a room key and when we went to go into our room there was already people in there!!!! Not good...

Excellent pool, large self contained rooms, friendly check in and help during our stay. Very close to the beach and excellent value for money. Refurbished kitchen and well decorated. We had a relaxing holiday. Would recommend it!
Great family hotel for the budget minded
Crockery in cupboard not washed properly. Carpets obviously not vacuumed and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but smelt of cigarette smoke. Great location but not somewhere we will ever return to.
Great location but the apartments could do with some serious updating. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Not expensive but it shows in the fittings and furnishings
Needs to be updated as they have two sections to their hotel and the olders section is very outdated OLd and Dingy. The carpet had an Iron mark and the couches were starting to get holes in them. Curtains need to be darker as they let in a lot of light and the Bathroom was old.
The room was very shabby and the lounges needed replacing. Didn't feel clean, but looked clean if that makes sense. Very old and needed upgrading.
We stayed in the Standard Acommodation - very standard but the price suited so no complaints. Spacious 2 bedroom unit. Staff at the hotel lovely and very helpful. Location right on the beach fantastic.
Thankyou very much to the reception staff. We were very tired on arrival and you made myself and my two daughters very welcome by providing us with a very clean and comfortable suite. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.
