At The Hostel we decided that our customers deserved a hostel that was funky and original throughout…so we didn’t just concentrate on the communal areas – our bedrooms have got original artworks by Jade Carrerra on the walls too.
We just want to ensure that you get a great nights sleep, so you will find modern bunks, fresh bedding and individual bed spotlights.
Embracing the original Victorian building, The Hostel is a spacious building over two levels and many of our rooms feature their own fabulous period features in their cornicing, high ceilings and large windows.

Getting there:
Situated in Edinburgh’s exclusive ‘West End’, The Hostel is an 8-10 minutes walk from Edinburgh City Centre – Princes Street. Directly opposite Haymarket train station, and on one of the main routes into the city, public transport is on our doorstep - buses, trains, taxis and eventually the new Edinburgh Trams!

Check in is from 13:00pm and Check out is 10:00am on the morning of departure
Car parking:
Car parking is available in the streets surrounding The Hostel at a cost of £2 per hour Mon through Saturday, 8.30 - 6.30pm. Free parking is available on a Sunday. Alternatively, parking is available close by at Morrison Street NCP car park, 6 - 24 hours is £9.50. Please note prices are subject to change.
