"Situated in a fairly good area within easy reach of the underground, this is not the smartest hotel in town, but is good value for a London short break. The decor could do with improvement and there are some signs of movement in this direction. Our room was of adequate size with a tiny shower/w.c. room and two very comfortable and clean beds. A hairdryer, TV and tea/coffee-making facilities were provided. A good continental breakfast was available with the food containers being continually replenished and the service area and tables kept scrupulously clean. The staff were pleasant and conscientious in their work. A good buy without pretention." - Noel McGuiggan
