Getting there:Located at 412 Pitt Street Sydney. From the Airport we recommend that you use Sydney City Shuttle, at $12 per person, call us from the airport for the shuttle meeting points. You will then be dropped off outside the property. From the Airport you can also catch the train to Sydney Central Station & then walk 5 minutes to Westend Backpackers Westend Backpackers is only a 5 minute walk from Sydney Central Station which is also where all interstate buses arrive.
Check-in Procedure:Must provide a valid driver's licence or passport at check in.
Car parking:Off Street parking available 200m from property for approximately $25.00 per night.

Ok as far as basic goes, however, be warned a public address system is used in every room at regular intervals so sleep is not for long and heart attacks are a big reality :(

Very very basic accommodation but location was within easy walking distance of Central. (You need to bring ur own towel). Staff were friendly.
Very enjoyable hostel, friendly staff. The room was ideal, great nights out organised each night. The intercomm thing was a bit mad for me, first time hearing that. Would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.
Given that it was a Backpacker hotel it was pretty much what could be expected - absence of towells - otherwise average to good rating should suffice. Location - close to Central Station - was the major attraction. Plus I always have problems with Sydney maps, I keep thinking in terms of Melbourne sized blocks.
Enjoyed our stay and the wine and cheese evening.
