Western CO-OP Residence Seoul

I stayed there from 13 oct till 17 oct...we had 1 double bedroom and 1 triple bedroom...the triple bedroom can room 4pax...according to the hotel staff the aircon will be turn off when they are experienceing cold weather..abit stuffy when we chk in to our room.Return trip to the airport by the airport are located at the front of the hotel 14000won each...we had 5paxs decided to ask the hotel staff to call for a jumbo cad for 90000 won....Very close to the dongdaemun stadium station exit hotel turn right... And of course the popular dongdaemun..shopping paradise...most building open from 11am to 4am... Mon closed..n not forgetting the Two Two chicken along our hotel was good..try the deep fried taste betterthan the 88Q sauce..... Only complain... We ge mosguitoes bites during our stay there...

location of hotel is very convenient and the shuttle bus service to the airport is really cost saving.

thumbs up! take a taxi when you arrived from the airport bus stops. it's cost minimal than the time searching for the place. when you found it, it's a gem, closest to all subways and shopping heavens. foods are aplenty, a convenience store three doors away and wonder around the back lanes for yummy and reasonable priced local meals. we walked back from late supper @ Lotteria (5 blocks away) at 430am and totally amazed with its safety. anyway, a police station was around the corner. the room is fanstactic, we enjoy wonderful accomodation and services are prompt. it's set up as a semi-service residence, so it's your job to ensure cleanliness. i shall stay here again if i even visit seoul. yc

Good room size, about 8 min walk from station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good for budget vistors.

nice location , near dongdaemum market,walking distance to shopping area.room are also nice ,with the price we pay its reasonable. The only thing Iam not happy with is the receptionist ,very arrogant.

I stayed in Western CO-OP Residence Seoul in May 2008 for about 12 days and I was impressed. It is clean, safe and within walking distance to subawy, restuarants, pizza, and fruit and vegtable market. The small kitchent is nice to have and the washing machines and dryers. With the kitchen I did not use the restaurnt facility. The staff is general friendly. The last time I satyed in Seoul, I stayed at a more expensive hotel with much less services. Western CO-OP Residence Seoul is a good investemet for your money and I recommend it for the economic tarveller who is seeking a clean and safe place to stay.

Great place to stay. Clean, new and comfortable. Convenient and close to metro and dongdaemon market. Has convenient store just next to hotel and local eating places all less than 5 minutes from hotel. 24 hour fast food nearby for those who want a break from korean food.

It was nice to have the extra space plus a mini-kitchen, table, etc. Excellent water pressure, too! And very convenient to the subway, Dongdaemun market, and the main tourist sights.

Other than smelling a little funny, this place was great. Very quiet, comfortable, and easy access to the subway.

excellent value for money. Hotel appartment with clean & relatively spacious rooms, with kitchen & free internet access in the rooms. Very good location : 5 min from subway stations, lots of Korean restaurants / foodcourts 5 min from the hotel. Lots of shopping malls very close.

The location is not so great. The so called fashion center is actually the places that for clothes outlet. However, it is close to metro station. If you don't mind taking subway, it is ok here.

Very good location, very clean room. We travel with a baby so we were happy to be able to do some simple cooking in the hotel room. However, difficult to explain to taxi driver to go to the airport limousine station. from the hotel to the nearest airport limousine station, at least 15 minutes. Will probably go tot this hotel again.

Need to improve security at the night, as there is no guest check when going in the hotel at 11:00 p.m. Also room door does not have security lock or double lock facility. In the mid night, neighbour rooms slashed the door very loudly, something can be improved from quality of room doors. In general cleanliness is very good. If possible provide shampoo and bath liquid for guests. also the staff speak good English.

An o.k. place for poeple with tight budget.

A good place to stay. Clean and very central (almost next to the Stadium, flea market, subway stations, shopping, etc.). The description that it is very close to the airport bus stop is a bit confusing. It was actually quite a bit of a walk if you have luggage. It is almost impossible in that area to find someone who speaks English, and thus find the place. Room has underfloor heating which cannot be regulated other than by opening the window. It got so hot that chocolate in my suitcase on the floor literally melted!

Brand new semi suites with great facilities, amazing value for the price in an expensive city. Location is ok, lots of clothes shops etc but not great for restaurants or attractions, however located very near a subway
