Situated within 500 metres of city centre on Gisborne’s main arterial route. The property is also in close vicinity to: restaurants, supermarkets, Gisborne Girls and Boys High Schools, YMCA, netball and squash courts. Gisborne’s superb safe swimming beaches are only a few minutes drive away. The motel suites are serviced daily and are designated non-smoking. The property has a conference/display room and offers cooked and continental breakfasts by room service. Most units feature a king size corner spa bath. Getting there:The main route to Gisborne is via State Highway 2 from either the north or south. As you approach Gisborne, simply follow the signs guiding you towards the "City Centre". White Heron Motor Lodge is the close to town on the right hand side as you approach the city. Alternatively you may decide to drive around the East Coast’s scenic "Pacific Coast Highway" (State Highway 35). As you approach Gisborne this highway becomes the city's main road, Gladstone Road. Simply drive along this road until you approach the property being the first motel on the left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Check-in time is between 1pm - 9pm. Please contact the motel direct if you wish to check-in outside of these times.
Car parking:Free car parking is available right outside your unit.
Child Policy:Units have a maximum of 2 persons.
A clean and tidy motel with very friendly and helpful staff, I would recommend to my friends and work colleagues.
Very friendly and helpful welcome on check in and check out. Overall a good Lodge to stay at. Easily accessible to all, and close to the main city.

All was as described in their site advertising. The couple running the place are friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfast was excellent and well priced. The only slight quibble was the lack of the local daily newspaper at reception. A minor point. I would stay here again.
Nice clean hotel with large rooms, and great facilities close to town. Top Hotel.
Bathroom flooded when showering - tiling not suited to drain shower.

very clean, tidy and comfortable friendly hosts have stayed there before and would difinatly stay there again.
We were lucky to get booked as area very busy, and our intentions were to stay 2 nights, but the journey was too long for us and as soon as we arrived we said we would only be staying 1 night, but it was no trouble, excellent motel, would recommend and re-visit.
Very comforatable. Great home-cooked brekkie a definite bonus!! Will definitely use again if I am back in town.
