White Rose Bali Hotel & Villas

We stayed in a Villa which was very luxurious , own private plunge pool, and we have stayed in many 5* in Australia and America and the Villa meets this. The Hotel is located right behind the Memorial in Kuta. Breakfast fantastic, staff freindly however the reort a little quite for our teenage daughters but loved the shopping. This was our first time to Bali so were a little unsure when choosing a hotel, but White Rose was fantastic. Service was great, rooms were cleaned daily, and the buffet breakfast had a huge variety. Its situated down a little alleyway off JL Legian which we liked as the hotel was kept quiet at night - you wouldn't think you were in the center of everything. Would stay there again.

Getting old and could do with freshing up, but it's clean and the staff are great.

I only spent a few nights at the White Rose but location, setting service and accomodation was excellent. Loafing by the pool was relaxing and the food was also good. Central to everything in Kuta beach, shopping, dining even the young loud Australian party boys had a time limit. Great studd would highly recommend to all my friends

Great location, just far enough off Jalang Legian to be away from the noise of the late night revellers but close to the action if you want it. Lovely grounds, nice pool, good value

Absolutely loved my time at the white rose, the staff were friendly and efficent, the pool set up was great, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Plus this is so close to town so everything was just within walking distance...highly recommend anyone to stay here.

A great little hotel tucked away just off JL Legian. Was impressed with the presentation of the hotel compared to other hotels in the area in this price range. Staff were friendly as is the case in most areas of Bali and nothing seemed to much trouble.

Only 3 star and a true 3 star Not like your [other hotel] But a good cheap Hotel close to all the Kuta action and shopping. Breakfast each day was fabulous with the service and the quality and variety of food. Some of the rooms need renovations but its all passable. The linen was changed daily the attendant staffmember was very considerate, competent and helpful .. Ketut nice guy We had a very enjoyable stay...specially avoiding the over crowding and congestion at the [other hotel]. Highly recommendable for the value.

Very good hotel, localted in the middle of Legian/Kuta, but still very quiet. The staff is nice, swimming pool good and the breakfast also good. A little expensive in comparison with others in Bali. But I recommend it.

You need to walk along a side alley to get to the hotel, which is good because you do not get the noise from the main Legian street activities. The hotel is surprisingly large. There is no complimentary wifi, breakfast is decent, rooms are large, and they provide a rack for sunning your clothes. Beware of staying at this hotel during the year end period tho', many Aussie youths out for a party stay here, and it gets noisy as well. The cable TV has 60 channels which is great!

The gardens are lovely and the staff are fine and the service was ok. The pool is good. The breakfast is ok but could do with a bit more variety. The hotel stairwells are very dirty and the bathrooms are also not all that clean and can have a strong smell of sewage. The bathrooms are in need of renovation. The bedclothes could be renewed as they are fairly grey. Overall the hotel is ok but I think the price was a bit high given the comments I have made.

Right on top of the nightlife of Kuta, yet very very quiet - you really wouldn't know that you are 1 minute away from Jalan Legian. Great hotel, great staff, room facilities are superb, great pool & restaurant. I'll definitely be back !

When we first arrive at night, the 1st impression was great. Staff was friendly but busy due to too many guest. Our Std room we booked was taken, so they gave us a superior room on the ground floor where the shower and safe wasn't working. We were asked to move to a new room 2 days later. The new room was great. There wasw no safe (coz it std room) but the view of the pool from the 2nd floor was better then a safe. Shower was working. But there were no towels. When we requested for towels in the morning, we only got it in the evening at 8pm. There where other guests who didn't have towels too. On our last day, while checking out, they mentioned that I had an outstanding bill for WiFi, which was impossible. Further checking, confirmed it was a mistake. They even could not find the paid voucher I gave them on the day of check-in. In summary, Location is great, Facility is average, But they need to work on the customer service.

The location is fantastic, right down town. The staff are very friendly and very anxious to please. The rooms are very tired. Stains etc from the leaking plumbing and very small but we didn't spend a lot of time in our room. Breakfast, which is included offers a huge variety from fruit and yogurt, to many cooked items.A great stay and would reccomend it.

A great little hotel secretly tucked away in the heart of Kuta! Great value for money and the staff are just wonderful.

This hotel is located just beside Legian Street (the main shopping area in Kuta), very convenient for those who love shopping and clubbing, also not very far from Kuta beach.

The White Rose has a very good location in the centre positioned in a lovely garden with a nice pool. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. For us, it was a good choice for a short stay.
