Whitsunday Terraces Airlie Beach

Stayed in the studio 27A. Stayed for 3 nights, paid A$299 total for 2 people. Good things: - very nice view from the balcony! - good location, walking distance to everything in Airlie Beach - close to the bus stop - self contained studio of a very good size, with all necessary appliances - can sleep up to 4 people I didn't mind but might bother others: - ants in the bathroom - very dated interior - noisy air conditioner - situated on a hill - walking up the hill or stairs, requires some effort, not very far though - did not get any free hotel wifi in the room - used 3G on my phone most of the time, which was strong enough to manage all my internet browsing during the stay. Overall - I was generally ok with the value for money.

Very basic room. Dated decor. Unfriendly staff. Warning: steep street or 80 step stair access to hotel.

On arrival there was no key left for us but that was soon fixed up, when we got to our room there was no power and again that was soon fixed as the room next door had had renos done and they simply forgot to turn the power back on, then we could not get the air conditioning to work so they moved us to a new room completely, we stayed for 4 nights and all 4 nights the air conditioning in the new room leaked and we had to put the rubbish bin underneath it to catch the water and emptying it several times a day and night. But having said all that I would stay there again as the managers were very helpful in getting us set up right and they were very friendly and apologetic for the inconveniences, the price was great for my son and I to be able to have a few dollars left to enjoy the activities the Whitsundays offer, and we are talking of our next trip and yes we would stay with them again despite the little problems thanks.

Great location, central to Airlie Beach, short distance to town, walking distance - great views from hotel room (Room 7), spectacular views from swimming pool and bar area. Would highly recommend it if you are looking for accommodation that is decent, clean and affordable.

We found the accommodation quite good, but extremely noisy on one night. Parking was a tight squeeze. Lovely view.

Best place to stay, but very old facilities.

Pricing and views were fantastic.

We were very disappointed with the view from our suite - of all the hotels in the Whitsundays, ours overlooked a huge, noisy construction site. The suite was big enough and reasonably well equipped, but cleanliness was lacking. The room was grubby, with built-up dust on many surfaces and windows. There must be much better properties at Airlie Beach.

Airlie Beach is a just a beautiful location. The views from the Terraces really are quite breathtaking. Once the new development is finished near the yacht club it will be nice to go back to revisit. The apartments are quite old and the kitchen and bathroom could do with a refit; but they were spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming :)

Great location (5 minutes from town center), great services and facilities for reasonable price - well recommended. Only drawback was the sofa bed, mattress is very thin and not comfortable to sleep on and if driving, it is difficult to get an undercover park.

You couldn't get nicer staff!!! They where so helpful & friendly. They made us feel really welcome. A++ I would have expected to pay more per night than what we did. The rooms are very big, seperate bedroom, fully self-contained, cable, nearly all the furniture was brand new, 5 min walk to the main street (that's downhill. the walk back up the hill is a killer!!) & the view...beautiful!!! There was only one thing I could fault this place on & that was the balcony. It looked like someone had had a hair cut out there & didn't clean it up. It was abit gross! Apart from that everything was Great. We'll definately stay there again.

very central part of arlie beach handy to town easy walking distance and good for ferry terminals not to far away. rooms have balcony and lovely views of the whitsunday islands, very spacious appartments. would use again

What a fantastic view! A short stoll to Airlie Beach, but it was up a hill!

Great views out of every room and very central. We would stay there again for its central location and beautiful views.
