Wigmore Court Hotel London

Staff very helpful and friendly. Answered all our questions and made calls for us. The hotel is about a 4-5 block walk to the tube or On/Off bus tours. No elevator so have to climb stairs to most of the rooms. The breakfast was good every morning. Small but nice rooms and descent beds. I would go there again and some of the guests were returnees. Price paid was good compared to other travelors' cost and the location was not a bad one at all.

Perfect location four blocks from Oxford street. Quite spacy rooms and what surprisede me most, cold and hot water in the same tap, not very common in the UK! English breakfast. We will definitly recommend this hotel.

Our bottom line is that we would definitely stay at The Wigmore Hotel again and we would recommend it. Reception staff, particularly Mandy, are very helpful and kind. The Wigmore is an old house near Marble Arch with 4 floors and no lift, so if you are booking and can't handle the stairs, ask for a room closer to the ground floor. Breakfast was held downstairs in the light and airy breakfast room. Breakfast was perfectly OK - cereals, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, tomoatoes, baked beans and toast with spreads. Lots of people from various countries staying there and all seemed to like it. Rooms were smallish but very clean and more than adequate for our needs - good value for money. Location is a couple of blocks from Oxford Street shops. Sept 2008, Australia
