Woraburi Resort & Spa Phuket

This is an excellent hotel for the price we paid on line it was very good value. the rooms are big and well set up, all rooms have a deck or balcony. The ground floor rooms have there own pool access. It is across the road from the beach and close to the main part of town so there are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. I would stay here again.

The hotel was pretty good but a bit too far away from any hustle and bustle. Great if you just want to rest and do nothing before moving on to Patong where all the action is. I also think the staff should be a little better at speaking and understanding English, sometimes a little diffucult to get things across to them.

This hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the beach, which was nice. Also, right next door are some markets, selling beach gear and trinkets to the tourists, which was very useful. The markets were quite large, with a good selection of items at very competitive prices. The markets also offered snack and drinks, with views of the sunset over the water, at very reasonable prices. The hotel itself had good facilities and the staff seemed very friendly. The pool was nice and the room was a good size. The resort is very large, and our room was located at the back of the complex, so it would have been about 100 metre walk from our room to reception. We wanted to come back to this resort but it was fully booked. I would recommend this resort to people wanting good value for money, who want to stay close to the beach.

Appreciated the free twice-daily shuttle to Patpong area and convenient drop-off at JungCeylon shopping mall. Very well maintained and pretty pool. Cabana poolside rooms are not necessary when it is so convenient to come down from the higher floor rooms to access and laze ard the pool! Very good counter service and friendly staff. Karon beach is much quieter (less crowded) than Patpong and liked the fact that it is within easy access across the road and you can keep a lookout for the local bus (song baew) to go to Phuket town for only 30bht per person!

Excellent position if you don't want to be in Patong but close enough for a short tuk tuk ride. The beach at karon is much prettier and cleaner. Great rooms and very clean. Limited facilities but its a smaller resort so there were not many kids which I would prefer. A couple of check in problems but they were quickly fixed.

Location is excellent opposite beach and next to markets. Some staff have trouble understanding english. The breakfast was cold every morning. Facilities were good, would recommend a facial. Need to get a chair early by the pool as not many chairs available.

Woraburi offers privacy without being boring as the pool snakes through the different ground floor rooms. This offers guests to see and interact with others. It has a good location as access to the beach, a public transport waiting shed, and mini shopping mall are near. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A few hitches though. Water in the toilet, when you first turn on the tap gushes off slightly rust colored water. But water turns clear after a few seconds. There were a few mosquitoes in the bathroom. And The bathroom could use a few more hooks to hang clothes. There's limited cable channel. Over-all woraburi still gives value for money lodgings.

try booking the rooms with 'pool access'. Resort is not found in any of the maps so it's advisable to 'remember' the location.

The Hotel staffs are kind and very helpful. Spacious room with balcony, clean and nice interior, safe deposit box in room. Swimming pool, Ping Pong table, and gym are free to use. With nice and quiet beach just across the street, also many restaurants, bars, and stores within walk distance. Surely highly recommended. I also enjoyed watching swatch fivb world beach volley tournament which is taken place on the beach across the hotel last week...

Woraburi is a good resort for the price. Great pool and the rooms are large. It is predominantly oriented to Japanese. This makes it occasionally difficult to deal with staff. We had to change rooms after two nights due to noise from a water pump. However, changing room was not a problem. Food was OK - try the omelettes for breakfast. Part of the hotel is next to a marsh/swamp so avoid the left side of the resort. Restaurants outside the hotel are also cheaper for lunch and dinner.

Staff need a little more knowledge in English for questions purposes and help, but otherwise staff was very, very! helpful in everything. Also the hotel should have a menu in every room for room service purposes. Overall the service and the hotel was Exellent!! and I plan to stay again when I come back to Phuket.

The hotel seems quite new, and the room we had was nicely decorated and with an elegant bathroom. The location on Karon is good, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The pool area is a little small but very nice. Service was very good. The hotel cafe was nothing special, but the breakfast was good. We did not try the dinner buffet but it looked nice.

Staff are friendly.
