Xanadu Main Beach Resort

Great location and price, maybe needs some new carpet but otherwise enjoyed it.

we have rated cleanliness low only because grill and oven trays had not been cleaned after use, otherwise it was rather good on this point. We have also rated facilities low because i don't believe a guest should have to hire a pool towel ($2.50) in a hotel that is rated as four star, we have stayed in many 3 star accomodations that supplied pool or beach towels and robes inclusive.Also i don't think it would be too much to ask for housekeeping to empty bins and for dish detergents to supplied for each night. The view however cannot be beaten.

Excellent facilities in an ideal location, wonderful views and clean apartment made for a super relaxing time.

Our stay at Xanadu was mixed .We arrived late and entry to our apartment was made fairly simple ,easy and secure .Finding our nominated car park wasn,t that easy numbers marked on floor of car space ok but we required a starting point instead of driving around through a car park late at night ,storage sheds not a good look .Apartment nice two balconies facing the sea what else could you want .Kitchen and equipment etc were clean and modern enough .Lounge dining room very nice and well equipped as was the bathroom and bedrooms .Major let down was stained and dirty carpet which gave me hay fever while in the apartment every were else i was fine .Easy access to all parts of the Gold Coast and beyond ,good Cafes a small walk away for all day meals Overall good value for money and would stay again and recommend a stay to anyone as long as the carpets are up brought up to scratch .A lovely well designed and balanced apartment resort .

The 2 bed room unit was very spacious. We got a unit at the 10th level and was facing the beach. Overall, the facility was great.

Beds were extremely soft - with lots of lumps. Staff were very helpful, changed mattress in main bedroom. However it was still very soft (although much better than the previous one). I believe they should use hotel quality not the average type.

The telephone in the unit did not work the whole time we were there, it kept cutting everyone off including the reception. they knew about the problem & reckoned that they were in contact with the phone co, in the end I asked for a new phone, it made no difference so they said they wouldn't charge us for our calls and also in the end gave us a $50 restaurant voucher as we had no end of trouble with the phone. I also reported that there was alot of black mould in the grouting in the ensuite, neither of the bathrooms had any fans or exhaust system so you had to open the window and then people from the other block could look in at you which wasn't the best!!!!! Otherwise our unit was nice and large, well furnished and we would return there. Our young visitors all enjoyed the indoor pool, the gym, the games room and we used the library too, and the tennis court too.

Welcoming, a bit difficult to find lifts in car park. Signs needed. Rooms clran and spacious. Good views both ways. No hangers in the closet. Extra towels cost $2.00. Overall ,very pleasent stay, lovely staff, a place to park, not far from shopping , across from the beach, clean, two pools an a sauna, a tennis court(extra), taxis, trips organised with a smile, and BBQ to cook with.Rooms spacious, and feel like home

The apt was big and suited very well our family of 4. We'd come in off-peak season and the only gripe we'd was the fact they gave us an apt with no sea-view until my wife made a fuss and they then changed us to a sea-view which was beautiful.

very central, to main beach. the hotel has very secure parking underneath hotel. overall enjoyed my stay.

Great relaxing place to stay. Staff were wonderful. Apartment was a little bit tired with stains on the carpet etc but it was very roomy and comfortable. Nice quiet place for families. We really enjoyed it.

A spacious apartment with parking and good facilities that is close to the beach and a good price.

Our unit was quite spacious with modern furniture and a nice view of the ocean. The resort location was great too - one street away from the beach and on the other side one street away from cafes & shops on Tedder Ave. Will definitely go back again:)

This was our fourth time staying at Xanadu with our 2 children, now 7 and 3. We have stayed in a different apartment each time and have been very happy with the standard each time. The 2 bedroom apartments are very well equipped and the resort offers a wide range of facilities including tennis and table tennis. The views are great, access to local shops, Sea World and Surfer's Paradise excellent. We have consistently had a great experience staying at Xanadu and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a luxury apartment stay.

Extremely spacious, fantastic view, friendly staff. Short walk to restaurants, bars and boutiques on Tedder Ave.

Breathtaking views of the ocean from the balcony and every window in the apartment. Spacious, open plan design with 5 star finishes, all the mod cons, excellent location and incredibly affordable. Staff deserve a mention also. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Very enjoyable stay.

I thought it was one the best units I have stayed in at the coast so far, great staff, very clean, only negative thing was the pool table had scratch marks and only 1 stick was good, missing some balls. Other then that very good location, will go there again next time.

We stayed at Xanadu for 2 nights. The 2 bedroom apartment was huge with 2 separate bathrooms. The apartment was very clean with good views of Main Beach (7th floor). The location was excellent, quiet and very close to Tedder Avenue. The walk to Surfers Paradise takes about 30 mins, but its a lovely walk along the beach. The only issue we could find was that the carpets and sofas were beige; not good if you spill something!
