This modern purpose built Hostel easily accommodates all types of travellers. It is popular with groups on an education programmes, families and individuals on leisure trips. Whatever your reason for being in the capital city you will find that Thameside is a good base. It is so centrally located by the river Thames that you will be spoilt for choice on your mode of travel Take a leisurely walk along the Thames path to Tower Bridge. We have a bus stop right outside the hostel so convenient to start using your value for money travel card and explore London on both underground and bus. A choice of two undergrounds, both only 10 minutes walk. Link up to the DLR and stand on the Meridian Line at Greenwich.
You will find the accommodation to be very comfortable and clean. All rooms are ensuite. Keep in touch with our internet machines. We have sky TV, see up to the minute news, sport and music channels
Cots and high chairs are available for our smaller, younger guests use with a good stock of books and some toys.
Hostel Star ratings have been awarded to the YHA by ETC and WTB and are checked annually. We welcome all your feedback to improve and maintain our services to all our guests.
IMPORTANT: YHA England & Wales is a membership organisation. All rates listed on this site are the members rates. Non-members will be charged upon arrival an additional GBP 3.00 supplement per night. |

From Rotherhithe Underground, turn left out of only exit, walk 600 metres and hostel is on left. From Canada Water station, exit beside Canada Water (keep water on right) and follow canal (left of Decathalon) to Salter Rd then cross pedestrian crossing and turn right. Hostel is on your left after 50 metres. From London Bridge Underground, exit and cross road opposite to London Dungeon and catch 381 bus to hostel. From Waterloo station, exit onto York Road and catch 381 bus to the hostel.
Public transport: Bus: TfL 225, 381, N381.
Underground: Rotherhithe, Canada Water both 600m.
Rail: London Bridge 1 mile.
National Express Victoria Coach Station 5 miles. Parking: Free on-street car parking. Coaches free (100 metres).

Check in may be done 24hrs. Rooms are available after 14.00hrs on the day of arrival. Those arriving before 14.00hrs can utilise our locker room for luggage storage until the room becomes available.
Check out before 10.00hrs on the day of departure.
The maximum stay for this YHA is 14 nights, bookings of more than 14 nights will only be honoured at the Manager's discretion. |

Children over the age of 14 years may stay in shared accommodation unaccompanied.
Children aged between 5 and 13 years must share in a single sex room with a parent or guardian of the same sex or stay in a family room. Children under 5 years may only stay in a private, family room. Health and Safety restrictions may preclude the YHA provider from accommodating children under 5 years, please enquire directly.
