I booked this accommodation very last minute (day before!) so I was very relieved to find something cheap and nice for the one night, as everywhere else was booked out or extremely expensive. This was my first time staying out accommodation like this and I was very pleasantly surprised! Room and beds very very modern and so comfortable. I didn't feel like I was staying in a dorm room at all! Beds were singles and not bunks!! Yay! :) Location was a 5 minute walking distance from central station so it was very convenient to get around. Would definitely stay there again!

Really good value for money, fantastic location as many of the major attractions are with-in walking distance and friendly staff. Clean, quiet room with comfortable beds and the included breakfast more than adequate. There are lots of inexpensive places to eat lunch/dinner a stroll away.

We both enjoyed our stay in the Y Hotel Hyde Park Sydney. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Location was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and would stay here on our next visit.
Very convenient location in Sydney CBD. Booked a single but got a twin so more room. Bit noisy from street but probably better back of house. Close to Museum station on City Circle, heated Olympic S/Pool 2blocks away. Communal kitchen if needed. Separate facilities close & clean. No room phone so had to go to reception with any queries. Included Cont breakfast but didn't have time to eat unfortunately. Will stay again.
A very pleased customer. Was the first time I have ever travelled and booked shared accommodation. I was pleased with this hotel the moment I arrived and was offered friendly service at Reception and was very happy with my room. It was clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. The location of this hotel is fantastic. Is very central to Hyde Park and short walk to Darling Harbor, Oxford St and Pitt Street Mall Shopping. Thank you for making my visit to Sydney in 8 years very memorable. I highly recommend this to other travellers looking for budget accommodation in Sydney
We picked this hotel primarily for the location, as we were attending the cricket at the SCG. It is a 25 minute walk to the SCG, and a 10 minute walk to the main restaurant areas in the CBD - the location was excellent. The price for this location was great. Breakfast was basic, but certainly good enough. The room was small, but clean. We would be happy to stay here again.
Great location for sightseeing, city & even for a 1/2 hr stroll to the cricket ground. Complementary continental brekfast is more than adequate ($5 extra for cooked breakfast). Same hotel accommdates dormitery type as well as private en-suit rooms, so expect to bump into back-packers in common areas.
Great Location, excellent customer service ,breakfast fantastic, only the incovenience were the share bathrooms and the Tv location in the wardrobe, couldnt see anything at all, was useless.
A very enjoyable stay. It is convenient to transport for city and railway travel. The breakfast is included and much appreciated. The deluxe room with ensuite was small but adequate for over night stays. It was quite and all facilities in the room including coffee making was functional. Would recommend and will stay there again in future, if the price is right.

generally it is very good, close to CBD,train station, around AUD20 if you take a taxi to the airport. good price with breakfast. Only thing that i don't feel comfortable is that the room I stayed smells a little bit wired
If you look for a clean, quiet, central located hotel with friendly, helpfull stuff, that is the right one. Anyone who stayed in there and I talked to was happy with this facility. It's definitely worth its price.
