Getting there:Hotel Yboulevard is located near the Central Station and only 5 minutes walking distance away from Damsquare, the Royal Palace, shopping areas, nightlife, canals, museums, operahouse and a lot more. The hotel is an excellent starting point to discover the many charms of Amsterdam. By car Coming from Schiphol Airport / The Hague: A4;direction Amsterdam At the end of the highroad A4 you have to follow Ring Amsterdam A10. Exit number S116 Amsterdam-Noord /Amsterdam-Centre. Follow the road Leeuwarderweg. Go through the Y-tunnel. If you come out of the tunnel follow the right curve onto the Prins Hendrikkade Go straight on the Prins Hendrikkade after 300 meters you see our hotel at the left hand. Make a U-turn at the stoplights and drive back and park your car in front of the hotel. By train When you arrive at the Central station , you go to the main exit there you go left and walk in direction of the big church. Here you go left and follow the Prins Hendrikkade.

For the price paid the hotel was ok. Location walking distance from main station fine. ideal for short stays and those on a tight budget.
I thought this hotel was wonderful in that it was not expensive and for the rate I paid I got what I needed, I would go there again.
Spacious rooms with private bathroom and private facilities. All the rooms have color tv with cable. All the guestrooms are double-glazed so a good an silent night rest is guaranteed in our hotel.

This is a very friendly hotel within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal railway station, which is a superb location. I spent two nights there and was impressed by the helpful and courteous staff. The only drawbacks are: there is no lift/elevator, so I had to carry my heavy bag three floors up and down the stairs! And the hotel's free wifi network is not available in the rooms and only covers the lobby area. But in balance, a good deal.
Even 10 min walk to the railway station, but very easy route. We met 3 counter staffs at different time, all of them were very helpful. One even spent her time to surf the web to help me find the bus and route to the local tour office. Another gave us very good advice about the surrounding and where to go for places of interest; wonderful people. Breadfast was simple but very rich, we got hot nice food.
Friendly hotel, more of a medium-level hotel for visiting tourists than for businesspeople. In an old building, with winding staircases and some pokey rooms. No phones in rooms, but very good free wireless connection. About 10 minutes' walk from the Central station.

I found the hotel to be clean, even in the midst of being refurbished. Relaxed, and easy to walk to from the train station.
