Yokohama Isezakicho Washington Hotel

Very convenient with subway right outside for Yokohama and Shin-Yokohama stations. Rooms are small as expected but upper floors better than lower. Decor is getting a bit tired now. Lawson store on ground floor is good for drinks and snacks which are not available in the hotel. Reception and restaurant staff helpful and spoke a little English.

Was o.k. for sleeping. Room was too small for two persons.

Very close to Subway Station, so that no umbrella was necessary to go Yokohama JR Station during rain. Hotel Room is very tiny, Faucet is leaking. I requested to repair Faucet every morning but they sent nobody the first 2 days. They fixed it the 3rd. day. Major Stores and Restaurants are close by.

Excellent location for any one seeking a comfortable hotel located in Yokohama. It is located by the Yokohama line giving istant transportation and connections to the Tokyo area. The hotel provides breakfast and lunch bufet for 1500 yen and 1750 yen respectfully. There is a convenience store and many restaurants nearby.

I've enjoyed staying in Isezakicho Washington Hotel. Staffs were caring and eager to serve. The room was small, but I understand that it is not uncommon in Japan and also corresponded to the pricing. My wife was also happy staying there and that is the best compliment.

Good, quiet, and inexpensive hotel situated with immediate access to buses and the subway. Five minutes from the train station. Free internet access was great. However, although I had booked a non-smoking room, I was not provided one. Only by paying to upgrade to their "premium" rooms was I given a non-smoking room.

The hotel location is acceptale although it is away from the city center. The room is small and so is the bathroom. The check out time (10:00) is early compared to other hotels.

Conveniently located just outside the Isezakicho-machi subway station. Less than 1 min walk from subway to hotel. Toilet and bathroom not as clean as other Japanese hotel within the same category I have stayed in for my trip in Japan. Liveable .. if you arenot too fussy..

Excellent value for a 3-star hotel and would definitely stay there again. Room was clean and comfortable and I was able to book a non-smoking room. Reception staff helpful although their English is limited. Vending machines for drinks/ice cream/cigarettes located on a couple of floors were useful as was the coin operated laundry (2 washing machines & 2 dryers). English / Japanese breakfast available looked good but I didn't try it as I preferred to eat out. Good location as subway was just a few yards from the hotel and main station about a 10 minute walk.

Standard hotel woth the price.

The Hotel is good with friendly staff. Facilities are basic. Location needs to be identified well. It would be nice to see the direction from Yokohama Stn.

Unless you know Japan you would say the room was very small with basically no place to put away the suitcases, but for the price and the lacation it can still be recomended. Although they did not have any non Japanese channel on the TV. Friendly and helpful staf even though some did not understand any English. Good Japanese restaurant on top with grand view of Yokohama and very good food.
