Yomi Hotel Taipei

The lobby is not impressive, but the room is comfortable and nice, good ambience and great service. Only 5-10 minutes lesiure walk to the Shualin MRT station where you catch their metro to any part of Taipei. The hotel is also close to the airport bus stop, opposite the Ambassador hotel. which is just 2-3 minute walk from Yomi Hotel.

Staying with elderly, the bathroom was not suitable for elderly. the triple room is definitely better than the Royal triple 1. The only setback was the room was not clean properly & as the bed-frame still have layer of dust & bed sheet is stains. Is a triple room but the tea-breaks which offer include cup noodles, only provide for 2 serving....The toilet still have yellowish & water stains. Definitely not clean properly by the cleaner. Not for the pricky or fussy person

nice, neat and tidy little hotel. cosy and warm. staff were extremely friendly. manager was literally a superman, tending to hotel's needs from manning the front desk to fixing safes to helping out in the restaurant. hotel provides plug converter with no charges or deposits. it also provides chargers for different phone brands, in case u didn't bring any. breakfast was simple but sufficient. wireless ain't strong, but they do provide a couple of PCs at the restaurant. pricing was reasonable and definitely good value for money. MRT station is within walking distance from hotel. definitely recommended for travellers from all walks of life.

The location is very good because it is just 2 blocks away from mrt station. There is a 7-11 and family mart nearby. There are also lots of fastfood nearby. The staffs are friendly and can speak English. The only downside is their wifi which is intermittent but on our last day, we saw a staff installing new router. So i think it is going to be better.

Good location,5 mins walk to the mrt.Breakfast very simple,but a lot of food near the hotel and cheap, so we missed the breakfast after the first one.only complain is the heavy smell of smoke in the rooms(all our friends room have the same problem)otherwise everything is fine.Free use of washing machine and dryer +laundry powder,24 hour free coffee, tea and juice,fruit and cakes, which you don't get at other hotels around the globe,very impressed!worth very dollar you spend here.

The Hotelclub booking turned out to be only for check-ins after 11pm. One can leave luggage at hotel hall so you don't have to drag heavy bags around town. got to stay in a buildning next to the hotel itself. Was a flat renovated to a hotelroom. Bathtub was a traditional japanese wooden one. Bed was soft. Breakfast was ok. Close to the Metro station and easy to get around town from.

Room is small, but service is very good. Friendly and courteous staff. Bad experience: Very loud noice from room next door (our room is 210) from midnight to 2 am. Compained to front desk and was told that it was probably because of the guest in the next room taking shower. Loud noice remained until about 3am, cannot sleep. Checked-out next day with lack-of-sleep.

Every thing is good except for the bed and the pillows is too soft.

Very good location with just five minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Service is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for family travel.

No problems with this hotel, the staff were very friendly and the room was excellent. With the MRT only 5 minutes away the location really didn't matter; it was easy to get anywhere in about 15 minutes or to the coast in 30! My only negative comment is that the plumbing is noisy when others are using the showers or bath nearby - it was quite loud. Didn't keep me awake for long though... I put average on pricing as I booked it ages ago and found a fair variation ; also I believe if you walked in off the street you may be able to negotiate a cheaper deal than a booked price, but I didn't want to spend time looking for somewhere to stay, with all messing around that entails.

Enjoyed stay here. However there is no lift to the basement where the facilities are so not recommended for guest who has difficulty with stairs.

Size of room is very good, not cramped. Bathroom is clean. Location is 5min walk to MRT Station, a lot of convenient store around. Free and fast internet. Front desk staff should learn how to speak English so guests will not have a hard time. Very good hotel! will recommend it!

We stayed at Yomi Hotel from May 13-19 in triple room. The people at front desk and all employee in this hotel were very friendly. Hotel location is not far from MRT. From airport we took Evergreen Bus and just walked cross the street to reach hotel. On the way back to airport we also took the same bus at the same stop so it was very convenience. Hotel surrounding is very safe with many good restaurants. We would recommend this hotel to friends and we will also come back to stay here again.

It is reasonable good hotel. convenient to any where and the facilities also are useful such as free use of washing, dry machines, free coffee and tea offered in dinning area which other wise we won't have any drink (the room offer some tea and coffee but the coffee is too sweet and tea without milk ......). I will recommended it to my friends.

Location Convenient, near to the MRT, and even nearer to the dropoff from the airport shuttle bus Evergreen. Oh, and there's a very good foot massage place just next to it. In addition, there are some buses which goes to some tourist locations nearby. All in all, I think location is very good. Room I stayed in the extension block next to the hotel (apartment building). They converted it a double storey room, but the ceiling was too low for comfort. That's the only bad part. Else got washing machine + dryer in the room, mini kitchen, 2 TVs, what else do you want for such reasonable price? Breakfast was decent.

Initially, we booked for 2 rooms for 2N from 5th to 7th May 2010. The rooms are OK though it is not sound proof. We can hear the sound from next room probably because it is a partition. One of our rooms is near the lift, we can even hear people talking while waiting for the lift. As the hotel is near the main road, we can also hear the traffic sound. We did not have a good night rest. We thought of moving out to another hotel that we had stayed previously but the rooms are full. Hence, we have no choice but to extend & stay on. The staff that mann the breakfast did not even bother to clean the tables before we had our breakfast. The only consolation is that the staff that mann the reception are bilingual and hence we had no problem in communication. I dont think we will ever return to stay at Yomi Hotel again.
