Hotel description:    Located in base of Shiga-kogen plateau, where Nagano winter Olympic Games was held in 1998. 7 min. walk from Yudanaka Station, which is a gate to Shiga-kogen.


Famous for Jigokudani-yaen-koen where Japanese Macaque "snow monkey" baths in hot springs, a temple where the well-known haiku poet Kobayashi Issa stayed, as well as statue of Peace Goddess Kannon is nearby.
All year round out-door hot spring, where you can enjoy great nature is available.

Momoyama bath and Shoraiso building are both listed as tangible cultural properties.
All baths are for guests staying in Main building and Shoraiso building.

Yorozuya offers Japanese style 10 tatami mat rooms with a great view, 8 tatami mat rooms with a view of Shoreiso and mountain in backdrop and Japanese-Western fusion rooms with beds.

Dinner will be served in a dining room (Main building).
Breakfast will be served on 3rd floor of Yuraku-an (Yuraku an).

Getting there: By train :
JR train system available from Narita to Nagano via Tokyo station. Especially the Shinkansen (Bullet train) is available.
From Nagano station, take the Nagano dentetsu train to Yudanaka station. From the station, hotel can be reached on foot or by minibus.

By car :
Follow Jyoetsu jidosyado(highway) and exit Shinshu Nakano IC then stay on R292 approx. 20min.
