Yue Shanghai Hotel

this hotel is in a great location ten minutes by taxi to the hub of down town shanghai the hotel over lookes century park with a great veiw of of shanghai world financial center tower . the room was brilliant on the 21 floor with panoramic view of the city

This hotel is located in a quiet suburban area of Shanghai. The subway station is next door and only 15 minutes to Nanjing East Road. Also in the immediate area is a hypermarket and a bakery/deli/cafe which was good as an alternative to dining at the hotel. Meals in the hotel restaurant were fairly expensive and not great value which was the major let down for me at this hotel.

I was there mainly for the world expo and the hotel staff was extremely helpful to my enquiries. there is a shuttle bus which leaves on the dot so remember to go down 5 mins earlier. the surrounding areas are residential estates thus its relatively quiet and nice and the century park is just opposite. there's a bakery next to the hotel, a family mart and a bigger super mart just across the road, thus for daily necessities or snacking its very accessible. There are no restaurants around except for within hotel, but its very easy to reach puxi, via MRT as its just next to the hotel or take a cab , its only like around RMB30 to reach puxi or vice versa for a return trip to hotel. the train line is no.2 and its a direct line to nanjing, ppl's square and the lujiazui which is the pudong financial hub, train fare is between 3-4 yuan. nice boutique n contemporary style hotel.

We noticed that there were some bad smell in the room, and drainage from the bath was seriously trouble.
