"I stayed in a double room with a very nice view. The location was very good. The room was clean, well heated (Not always the case with old houses in Andalucia) with a mini bar and Spanish satellite TV (TVE, Sports and music channels but no international tv). Old house from the 16th century, built in Castilian style, located in the most beautiful place in the city: the "Carrera del Darro".
The hotel, completely restored, was occupied by the court of the king Carlos V and after by the priests.
Its patio has been designated by UNESCO as "of artistic interest".
The rooms are very luminous. All of them are climated and equipped with minibar, hairdryer, TV, telephone. From the rooms you can enjoy a marvellous views. Some rooms have a balcony (double special rooms) and the rest have big windows.
The hotel has, in addition, fax service.
On the ground floor there is a cafe-bar where breakfasts are served. It disposes of cold meals and the typical "granada tapas". |

The hotel is in the city´s center. It is near to Plaza Nueva, if you come from Gran Vía street (where you could park your car in the Parking "Triunfo" (18,50 Euros per 24 hours paying tickets in cash at the hotel). The parking is 15 minutes by walking.We have another nearest parking, its PLAZA PUERTA REAL (same price). 10 minutes walking) |
