"Zara Hotel is located at avery useful place for a tourist. There is a close metro station, but you can also walk to the center of the city. Breakfast was a little poor, though. Rooms seemed to be recently renewed. They were clean and cute. We had a little problem with hot water, I guess it could be better if you ask for a room on the lower floors. We are located only 25 kms from Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci). From the airport it takes only 30 minutes by taxi to reach the hotel. The normal daytime taxi fares are 45.00 - 55.00 Euros.
Or alternatively, you can take the Leonardo Express train from the Fiumicino airport which brings you to Termini Station. Costs more or less 10.00 Euro per person.
Once you arrive at the station, it is best to take the bus number 40 or 64 to Via Nazionale (recommended only when you have lots of luggage). Get off at the first or second busstop on Via Nazionale. Via Quattro Fontane 37 is just 10 meters from there. If you walk from the Termini Station it will take only 15 minutes to reach us, we are on Via Quattro Fontane, building number 37
From Ciampino Airport it takes only 30 minutes by taxi to reach the hotel.The normal day taxi fares are between 45.00 - 55.00 Euros. Alternative, catch the airport transfer from the airport to Termini Station, from there we are at walking distance. |
