OK standard Rome-hotel with central location near Termini. Steep steps to draw up the suitcases as the lift was out of order. Relatively poor breakfast with a lot of sweet cakes, perhaps common in Italian ordinary hotels.
A very well placed hotel with extremely freindly staff. The room had adequate facilities and was clean and well prepared.Plenty of towels and loads of hot water. Also a comfortable bed.
SINGLE
Standard double room with modern looks with double bed or a twin bed
Family triple room for 3 adults or for 2 adults and a child
great location, friendly staff our second stay at this hotel
The location is absolutely good. But the hotel is pretty old, and it's cold since the warming system has some problems. Considering the price and location, it's recommended.
The first room offered was sub-standard. No toilet roll holder, toilet seat not attached, wall paper pealing, poorly cleaned, fittings loose and some missing. refrigerator full of previous guest rubbish. The second room offered was bigger and cleaner on the top floor, but the curtains were hanging with ties broken and pelmet in disrepair. I repaired the toilet roll holder and the shelf under the bathroom sink. The breakfast coffee was a great disappointment for Italy. and no fresh fruit or juices.
No Hot water in the bathroom. The price is quite expensive.
Very nice hotel with friendly personnel
Good location average hotel terrible breakfast
I had one little room and i diddn't see other ones. From the ceiling the were some spider nest hanging and five days the bed sheets were the same, the towels for two days, the floor was broken, the bathroom had a very dirty shower curtain, not enough light in the room, the breakfast was for laughing i only went the first day although i had paid it for all. But.., almost everyone working at the 24h reception was very polite and ready to help in any way giving tips about the busses and stations and having internet and phone numbers for all museums. Best location a traveller can have visiting Rome.
Super location, could not be better. Breakfast .. hmmm .. not Northen European taste .. lots of sugar stuff
Excellent location, helpful staff and good value for money, but would benefit from some minor improvements common to most hotels nowadays, such as on-site internet access and the opportunity to purchase some basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, deodorant, etc. when arriving late at night.
Very clean but the beds & pillows were very hard. It was in a very central location. Near the main train station.
about 10 mins walk to the Spanish Steps in a lovely area
The Zara hotel was an excellent choice for a short stay in Rome. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was also difficult to beat - easy walking distance to Termini and only 10 minutes interesting walk from many of the Cities main sights.
Reception personnel were very friendly and very helpful!
I have recently stayed in Zara hotel for 2 nights, and my immediate notice is the size of the room which was very compact. the second thing is the bad ventilation. the one ventilator in the bath room was very noisy and start working after a delay of ca. 1 minute after giving a weird sound. I think the major issue here is the staff in the reception. They were very sparsely in giving any information or even acting as kind and helpful! The water was only dropping from the shower as there were no pressure at all. Well after this then I have to say that the location is the best feature of this hotel. I got this hotel for a discounted prize about 55£ a night and that's why it was ok for me but I was shocked as I saw a sign hanged on the door from inside where it stated that the (standard) prize of the room is 155£ a night!!!!!! (that must be a joke if they really mean it).
Hotel interior very kitch. Elevator was out of service on arrival.
Location excellent and friendly, helpful English speaking people on the desk. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was basic and shower soaked everything. Basic breakfast. I would stay again.
Overall the stay was good, the bathroom was in need of an upgrade as quite a lot of the wall and floor tiles were broken or patched up. The location was excellent and gave easy access to all the major attractions. We will stay at the Zara Hotel again!
Very basic hotel in a very good location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Some rooms have completely unacceptable bathrooms, so if you can, check the room assigned to ensure that the bathroom meets your needs.
