"The room was quite small (both bedroom and bathroom) and a little dark - so not exactly a flashy or boutique hotel. However we would return here if we needed some simple and safe accommodation in San Sebastian a stone's throw from the beach and best areas. It's quite central to everything and just behind the more expensive beachside hotels. Reception is friendly. Simple but adequate accommodation, at a fair price, in a useful location, in a fantastic town!" - Anonymous

"Good experience from the start. Staff spoke english, which helped with the little spanish I speak. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was small but I only needed the place to sleep. Bathroom was modern. Location was excellent - plenty of tapas bars and shopping nearby, not to mention the beach only 100metres from the front door. It is a bit noisy, as the hotel is centrally located, however it does quieten down during the night when you need to sleep. More than what I expected from a 1-star hotel.
