"Location was great for the train and bus station and close by the vaporetta. BUT it was noisy on the street. Also, there was a funny smell of stagnant water in the bathroom, I didn't complain so my fault." - Anonymous
"The staff at the lobby counter/desk were great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were noisy, in disrepair, lacked basic facilities, such as microwave, fridge, ironing facilities. Had no internet let alone free internet. The location was great. This would be a 1 star hotel anywhere else in the world, but again the staff were great.
The internet aspect is important, my highest small item cost was internet access which to be frank is unbelievablely poor and expensive with Venice 3 times the cost of anywhere else in the world. Because I tend to work a little bit when on holiday, I use the internet. I would avoid venice in the future or only go for a day, which means the hotels and stores miss out on income from me and my friends." - Kerry O'Brien
