Built in the early 1800’s Zetland Country House is situated overlooking Cashel Bay in the heart of Connemara surrounded by acres of garden. The House originally built as a sporting lodge derives its name from the Earl of Zetland, a regular guest and Lord Viceroy to Ireland in the last century. Getting there:
From Galway City take the ring road around the city and onto the N59 (towords Clifden) to Oughterard, Maam Cross and Recess. Approx 3 miles past Recess there will be a left turn which will be signposted for Cashel & Carna. Approx 7 miles along this road there is a right turn which ill be signposted for Zetland House Hotel, the hotel is on the right hand side of the road.
