Zhao An Hotel Shanghai

good location.

Location is very good breakfast was ok.

It's located right next to the HanZhong subway station. The room has 2 levels with a living room area and the bedroom upstairs. Very spacious. However the surrounding area seems to be undergoing massive construction and there's not much facilities e.g. shops/eateries in sight

Location is just perfect (near underground station, 1 stop far from railway station). Staff very helpfull, nice, they speak English. Hotel from 70' - not so modern. Business service open for guests.

Extremely convenient location. The hotel is just next to the metro exit. You can never find a hotel closer to the metro than this one. It is at the heart of the city centre, but nothing to see/shop around the hotel. Price is great. A hotel that is highly recommend to anyone who is new to Shanghai.

The hotel is just beside the metro which makes it easy to get around. The staff were great, especially the cleaning staff. There is only one problem, there is alot of criminal action in the area between the hotel and the central station. It is OK during the day, but take care in the evening. There are heaps of pickpockets.

under some small redecorating when we stayed.the pool is tiny and below par for cleanliness. room was in good condition and the bathroom was very clean. the hotel is just a bit worn, carpet decor e.t.c. internet was good and free in your room if you have a laptop. it's a ok place to stay in shanghai as you won't spend too much time in your room and it is built on top of the subway so you can get around easy.

The Zhao An hotel is in an excellent location. the staff have always been happy and eager to help. the rooms are quiet and we will definately be staying there again. John and Kerryn from australia

Can't be the price and the rooms were more than adequate.

I will be traveling more to Shanghai in the future and have decided to make the Zhao An my home. It is located near two major Banks, Mcdonalds, KFC just to mention a few. Hotel is clean and staff very helpfull. Manie van der Merwe Namibia

Very nice hotel and the subway right next door ! Could´t be better ! Be aware that life in Shanghai ( and all over China ) is extremely quiet afther 11 pm !! Last Subway to the hotel is 10.30 pm !! I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I really dislike is the fact that internet in the lobby is NOT FREE of charge . Everywhere else it is complimentary.

Great value for price and great location, clean and practical. Don't expect 5-star service, but everything works fine so no quibbles. Recommended for all price-conscious travellers.

Excellent location. Breakfast was good and facilties ok. They were not smiling too much at the reception but otherwise the service was decent.
