"Great location, close to railway station, subway, silk and pearl markets, Tianamen Square. Forbidden City. Taxi driver found it hard to find as it was in an alley. Looks dodgy but very safe. Friendly staff. awful breakfasts/meals, hard beds and buck wheat pillow although slept Ok. Very noisy from staff moving early in the morning, you could not sleep past 7.00am. Trains at the back but not a bother. Double room very small but saw an apartment which was huge and very classy. Tip - always get your taxi driver to drop you off at the main station, they know where to go then." - Colleen Boxall
