Zleep Hotel Ishoj Copenhagen

"Stayed here 5 nights, the room was never cleaned the beds never made. The bathroom was shabby,smelly and had cracked tiles. The ventilation system did not work.Check in is via an automated machine and reception opening hours are erratic. Facilities consisted of two vending machines on our floor. Service was non existent, inexperienced staff who were defensive when asked about payment/billing etc. Breakfast is overpriced at DKK 59 and everyday there was a shortage of something.Ishoj is about 30mins by trainfrom central Copenhagen and access to the Hotel is through a shopping centre. The view from the room consisted of a windswept,litter strewn car park. At night the shopping centre is full of loitering youths who later move outside to the car park to play music at deafening levels, drink and party until the early hours of the morning. The Hoel is cheaper than those in central Copenhagen but then you get nothing for your money. My advice - stay somewhere else." - Anonymous

"Don't be put off by first impressions, as this hotel sits on top of a grotty office/shopping complex. Once inside, we were given a very spacious, clean room on the 9th floor, with a double bed, a double sofa bed, and a single bunk bed. The breakfast was a real bargain at only 5 krona." - Alastair Wolff

"The hotel is basic, which is reflected in the price. There is no safe, no fridge (vending machine in the hallway though!), no complimentary schampooo etc, but you have everything you need. It's it very clean, new and absolutely functional. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly and polite. " - Anna Larsson
