Zurbaran Hotel Mallorca Island

The charm of this hotel is that it is not on a major tourist route. Instead, it is in a charming and restful residential area. A five mnute downhill walk does, however, lead to a boarding point for the recommended and regular open-topped 'bus tours of Palma. Only those heavily into self-improvement will relish the uphill walk back to base. Once a day is quite enough. The Zurburan is a friendly and efficient hotel well worth the climbing effort - or the cost of a taxi. JOHN BACH United Kingdom

The hotel was fine if staying on business, but had insufficient facilities for anyone on a longer holiday trip. There were no leisure areas in which to relax. Contrary to previous comments I had read about the hotel, I found the surroundings reasonably quiet and no more noisy than any busy hotel. The beds are of the firm variety but I found them reasonably comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Coffee wasn't automatically replenished and there was not a great deal of choice of warm food. I would say that it is a perfectly acceptable hotel if staying for a short period.

Can't fault the hotel. Very clean and large room. Would definitely recommend. Stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels but Zurbaran beats them all for price and cleanliness.

Hotel was very clean and tidy and quite good value. It's location is on the top of a steep hillin a nice quiet area and I would recomend a taxi home at @ 5 euro from the marina area. The only negative I have is the fact that you do not get tea/coffee making facilities in your room and cannot get one from reception. Breakfast was quite good value and I would stay there again along with my travel kettle and tea bags!!

I thought the hotel could of benefited from having a restaurant. The town centre is only 10 minute walk away and there are regular buses to and from the town centre. It's near all the bars and restaurants on the harbour side. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is exeptionally clean. Breakfast is very good with a chocie of toast, bread, cheese's, cooked meat, cake among other items. I would definetly stay here again if I go back to Pallma de mallorca.
