Astray is Rotorua's newest Motel and Backpackers.
Formally Microtel Rotorua, we have undergone a rebrand and are in the midst of a complete refurbishment with new ownership and management. (Please note our refurbishment will be of no guest distruption).
Located on Pukuatua Street, we are ideally located for those wanting centrally located accommodation at very competitive rates.
With the bus stop and town at our front door, a 5 minute walk to the Information Centre and Lakefront, we are very accessible to all tourist and business amenities.
We have a range of accommodation available offering the most flexible room types. Catch the green Bay Bus shuttle for $NZD2.00 direct to Astrays doorstep
From the North or West:
Proceed on SH 5 into town and turn left on Lake Road. Proceed to the 1st light and bear right onto Ranolf St. Proceed to the 2nd round about and turn left onto Pukuatua St. Located about 2 blocks on the right at 1202 Pukuatua.
From the South:
Proceed on SH 5 into town and turn right onto Pukuatua St.Proceed straight on through two round abouts, then approx. 2 blocks on the right at 1202.
From the East:
Proceed on SH 30 into town and turn right onto Fenton Street.
Proceed 3 block and turn left onto Pukuatua St. Located 1 1/2 blocks on the left at 1202.
