"very basic accomodation but clean with very new appliances and newly renovated ensuite. For the price a good overnight option for the budget minded " - Stuart Lawless
"Ensuite door fell off. No glasses. Shower door faulty. No tea. TV stuffed
Fire hazard Foul language from beer garden mid afternoon Mirror ok for 150cm, I'm 183cm. Name Brunswick not visible. Staff uncommunicative lacked understandable English. Nobody available at 9.30am on week day to accept cancellation. Left note and expect refund for prepaid day's accom. Bed substandard and noisy. Cost $119+GST but worth much much less" - Anonymous
"This was not a hotel, it was more like a pub with a few dodgy rooms above it. The owners did not speak much, even when checking us in. They did not appear to speak very good english. The room was hidious. There was a double bed (which was suprizing comfortable) and a single bed squished into a small room, with an old fridge at the end of the bed. The bathroom was as big as as big as your average laundry area and was not clean and the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It smells of mould as there was no extractor. The room was also freezing as it only had 1 electric heater that was about 40 years old. The bed was pushed up against the window which was drafty. There were men getting violent in the middle of the day in the pub downstairs. Location wise it was not bad, about a 10 min walk from the main pier with bars and restaurants. I would not recommend this 'hotel' and advise travellers to try the confort in or any hotel along the front and near to the peir." - Anonymous
"This hotel is base accommodation. A backpackers type of accommodation." - Anonymous
