"Nice enough hotel, quiet and very safe with good restaurant at night but breakfast is average and finishes too early for people on vacation. Nice staff. Location is an issue without a car because there is nothing much in American River, no real town center. Not a problem however for only a day or two since they pick up for excusions and to/from the ferry back to the mainland. No nice beach. Great pelican feeding right in front of the hotel every evening. " - Anonyme
