"This is an extremely comfortable hotel and waht you would expect from a 3 star. It is situated just across the bridge a 3 min walk from the market and 5 mins from Pub street. The breakfast was a bit limited and the tea and coffee weren't great. If you don't fancy the bedlam of Pub street there is a nice quiet bar to the right of the hotel were you can have a good conversation with the locals." - Pauline Simpson

"City River Hotel is in general a good value for the money. The rooms are very nice, hotel is well-located, and their drivers to take you around to the temples are not too pushy and are laidback about changing your plans on the fly. My main complaint is that some members of the hotel staff will constantly bug you about enlisting you to go on tours/theater/etc. with them under the table. This is a trait that will become quite annoying after being bugged to buy things practically everywhere you go. The cost of a driver for the day is $23, plus an extra $5 for starting at sunrise, and $40 to go to the remote temples (Bantey Srei, Khbal Spean etc.)" - Anonymous
