Hotel Description:    Situated just metres from the shores of beautiful Lake Taupo, the Colonial Lodge offers superior accommodation in tastefully decorated studio or family suites.
The town centre is only minutes away for shopping and restaurants, or relax on the beach and enjoy the extensive views of the lake and mountains. We are in close proximity to Main beach, Sky Diving, Bungy Jumping and the local jet boats just to name a few of the many attractions Taupo Has to offer. We now also offer some of the best package golf and accommodation offers in conjunction with the Taupo golf course. Bookings can be made on the Colonial website.

Getting There: Arriving from the north you travel through town and head along the lake front until you see us at 134 on the left hand side. Coming from the south we are the second motel on the right hand side as soon as you are travelling along the lake front. At night time you cannot miss our bright green neon ring around our sign.
Check-in Procedure: Please present your credit card details on arrival for any incidentals that may occur on your rooms bill. Check in by 9:30pm unless otherwise arranged with staff at the motel. Late check-ins can be arranged.
Car Parking: We have off street parking for all guests.
Child Policy: There is no extra charge for a child. (12 & Under)
