For those who prefer to fly there is a bus service from Naples Airport ( Capodichino ) which will take you straight to Sorrento , or booking a private trasfer .
For those of who are travelling by train you can catch the train from Naples to Sorrento, which takes 1 hour with the Circumvesuviana train.
If you are travelling by car you can use various motorways ,from the Nord : go on the motorway A/2 Milano – Napoli , and continue until your reach the exit at Castellammare di Stabia ; from the South : go on the A/3 motorway Reggio Calabria – Salerno and headtowards Naples until you reach the exit at Castellammare di Stabia ; from the East : go on A/16 Bari – Napoli motorway which joins onto the A/3 Napoli – Salerno motorway , continue up to the exit at Castellammare di Stabia. In all cases at Castellammare di Stabia you will come across the SS 145 which gives indications for the Sorrento Peninsular. |
