"Stayed in the recently renovated hotel rooms.( Must have been done on the cheap!) Bathroom flooded everytime we had a shower as there is not a seperate shower - just part of the bathroom with a drain in the middle. Lock on door was faulty - always had trouble trying to enter the room. Vanity unit in bathroom had no shelving in it or bottom, just a hole going down to a large a pump which 'kicked in' everytime you turned a tap on or flushed the toilet. Room service was poor - some days towels were changed and other days they weren't. Over priced for what it was. " - Anonymous
"We were able to leave our bags in room well before check in time and before room was made up. This was really helpful to us. Great place to stay." - Denise Buckle
"very nice staff, most helpful, but if you are over 30 years of age dont stay here, very very noisey with backpackers. rooms terriable." - david black
"The room at the Cavenagh was very clean and well fitted. However, it must have been an internal room, as it had no windows. There was a skylight high up, with a side window. That is, from the room you could see nothing of the outside world. I found it rather claustrophobic, and would like to have known about it before accepting it. Other than that, everything about the hotel was quite adequate." - Mary Elliott
