"The Alma was a good standard for a 3 star hotel in Alghero. The room was of ample proportions and although neither the hairdryer nor the scales worked, it was good that these were provided. I enjoyed the variety offered at breakfast. The standard of the food and coffee was not as high as at another 3 star we stayed at but it was perfectly reasonable nonetheless. "A clean hotel with good sized rooms and really pleasant and helpful staff. It is about 15 minutes from the Old Town, and we enjoyed the walk. Continental breakfast worked well for us, though 'proper' coffee would have been welcome! Sardinia is lovely, with a bus trip to Bosa very revealing in terms of the beauty of the coast line and mountains." - Leslie Gallop
