"For the most part the location was good. Service was friendly albeit a little slow, when we asked for someone to check the room it took a good deal longer then the 5 minutes indicated by the front desk. We asked for a non-smoking room but it was clear that smoking goes on everywhere, although the breakfast room and lobby were smoke free areas, at least while we were there. For the money and the proximity to where we wanted to be it was pretty good and very easy to get to and from with the public transportation. Room was very small, but adequate, we asked for a komfort room with private bath. The mattresses and pillows were a bit hard, but we only needed a place to lay our heads at the end of the day as we were out for the most part. Breakfast was fine, served buffet style with plenty to choose from. All in all it was okay, since it is the first time in Vienna I have nothing to compare it to but it was good." - Anonymous
"Everything was OK but nothing more. This guesthouse (it's not a real hotel so don't be fooled by the 4-star rating) needs refurbishment. The staff was very friendly. The reception area smells of cigarettes but the room was non-smoking. Fast wired Internet (price OK). TV with unusable remote control. The location is perfect (5mins by tram to the State Opera). If you happen to get a room facing the main street you'll be woken by the traffic noise despite the double glazing. You get what you pay for basically... The hotel is in the centrally located main street of the 4th district. Wiedner Hauptstrasse, which farther down passes on into Kaertnerstrasse, the main pedestrian zone in the very heart of the city.

A warm ambience, 26 exclusive and lovingly decorated rooms that combine style, individuality and the latest in technical developments, not to mention our attentive staff, make for a comfortable stay in Vienna. For breakfast we offer a large buffet which leaves nothing to be desired.
