AZURE SEA WHITSUNDAY GRAND MERCURE

"Excellent accomidation, would recommend these apartments to anyone visiting the Whitsundays. Only newly built an decorated to highest of standards. Out of all the hotels & apartments that we have stayed in, in Australia these would have to be the nicest place we stayed in. Reception couldn't do enough for us they were very helpfull, they even stores our luggage while we went on a 3 day boat cruise. I hate to even mention one downside because it really doesnt take away from these apartments but they are located on top of a steep hill, but there is loads of taxis in the town and its only a 5 minute walk to the town!! so taxis are cheep enough! "Recently stayed at the Whitsunday Grand Mercure Apartments for a long weekend. These are a new block of serviced apartments sitting high up on the hill above Airlie Beach, with stunning views over the Whitsunday Islands. The rooms are enormous with a large verandah leading out from the main lounge. Absolutely everything provided for a pleasant stay though the walk up from town may be prove difficult for kids." - Anthony Smithyman
