The Deluxe double or twin rooms have all Venetian style furniture, wide tents, elegant textiles on the walls. They all have very generous dimensions, and are enriched by artistic elements, characterized by internal light games, precious drawing by the famous Venetian artist Saretta and some of them face to canals and bridges, rendering possible to observe the slow Gondolas passing, and for some of these rooms, precious San Mark Tower views.
All the rooms have all the modern comforts.

"We stayed 3 nights at the Bella Venezia and had been to Venice some times before. Venice is an incredibly beautiful city and well worth a visit.
The hotel is modern and does not show signs of the period it was built in.
We booked a Superior Room. The design and style of the room was true Venician. The view was disapponted and we never looked out the window. In truth a view limited number of rooms at the back of the hotel do this. The rooms at the front look over the busy small street the hotel sits on.
We were disappointed with the bed, which was 2 single mattresses put together on wheels. You can imagine that on a romantic getaway this can especially be a problem.
The cleaning staff were great.
The location is great.
The breakfast included was a bit disappointing, not up to the standard that I was used to from a fine hotel.
All and all, for the money, I would not recommend this hotel. There is much better value in hotels to be had in Venice at the 4 star level." - Roland Bleyer

"Well located between St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge, the hotel is a great place to stay. Breakfast is good and served in a room overlooking a small canal.
We didn't have a canal view but then we didn't spend that much time in the room. We had a superior room which was large and well decorated.
Currently they do not have a broadband connection, only ISDN which I didn't even bother to try to connect to. Apparently this is changing, however if you have to have internet access check that this has happened.
All in all a nice well pesented hotel in a convenient location to explore Venice" - Fiona Copeman

The sixteenth century palace in which Hotel Bella Venezia is sited in, has been completely respected and restored in accord with the Italian Belle Arti.
The works, ended by the middle of year 2006; have gifted back the ancient splendour to each Venetian bedrooms; rooms that offer precious views over canals, streets, and suggestive roofs with the Saint Mark bell tower as picture on the ground.

Arriving by Train
From Santa Lucia Station, you can catch a water taxi that in less than 10 minutes will bring you at the hotel. Otherwise you can catch the public transportation (waterbus "vaporetto") line number 1, in about 15 minutes you'll reach Rialto Bridge; the hotel is about 50 meters from the waterbus stop. |
