"This motel is correctly ranked @ 3.5 stars. It is honest and unpretentious. It suffers from its distance from the centre of the town and also the lack of dining facilities close by.
Although it is immacualtely kept, it is time for a complete facelift.

The Best Western Beechworth Motor Inn is a 3 1/2 star Motel, located 1km north of the Post Office in the Historic Township of Beechworth. The Best Western Beechworth Motor Inn has 10 fully refurbished ground floor units offering superior motel accommodation. Each room meeting Best Western Global standards including Cable (Austar) Television, Fox Sports, News and Movie Channels, Wireless Broadband Internet Access, Hi-Speed Dataport Internet Access to all rooms, mini bar, king and queen size beds, electric blankets, split system heating/airconditioning and full tea/coffee making facilities.
In August 2008 at the national convention held in Auckland New Zealand the motel received an award for excellence with the most improvements and upgrades within a Best Western Australasia property. In 2006 the property was awarded the Best 3 1/2 Star Best Western Property in Australia and was a Finalist in the National HM Awards for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

The Best Western Beechworth Motor Inn is situated 1km north of the Post Office on the Beechworth/Wodonga Road (Sydney Road), right next door to the Beechworth Hospital.
Driving to Beechworth is a comfortable 3 hours north of Melbourne, 4.5 hours south of Canberra and 7 hours from Sydney. It is accesed via Melbourne to Sydney's major highway the Hume Freeway and then turning off at Wangaratta (South) or Wodonga (North) for the last 25-30 minute leg.
Major train and coach services operate from Sydney & Melbourne with bus connections through to Beechworth. Regular domestic flights operate into Albury airport offering hire car, taxi and bus services.
