"Rooms were very pleasant, some rooms having a glass sunroom attachment which was very inviting in the winter sun. Location is spectacular with delightful gardens and pool overlooking water towards Russell. Service was efficient and welcoming, and the food on offer was of a high standard. Getting There: Follow State Highway 1 north from Auckland for just 3 hours to the Bay of Islands. Leave SH 1 at Kawakawa following signs for the Bay of Islands and Paihia. Drive through Paihia and in two minutes you will be at a roundabout, turn right for Waitangi, cross the bridge and the hotel is in front of you.
