"Our weekend stay at Country Comfort Terrigal was tarnished due to a few disappointing events from an otherwise exellent hotel. One of the main reasons of choice was the childrens pool, which the staff failed to mension that the entire pool area is under construction. Upon returning from a saturday outing we found all the parking spots were taken making it rather difficult walking back to the room with a sleeping child. Later that evening police arrived two doors across to end the teenager party overflowing into the gardens. However the most upsetting of all, the couple next door were continually smoking in front of our door where there were ashtrays placed (amongst a row of non smoking rooms)and when we finally decided to notify management we were told "there's nothing we can do, im a smoker it dosent bother me". "Really nice modest place to stay. Seems good for a family or a couple." - craig windon
"The Country Comfort has a very relaxing atmosphere, the reception was very friendly and helpful as was the room service staff. The room service itself was excellent value for money and the Creme Brulee was heavenly as were the 'Drunken Strawberries' with chocalate dipping sauce...mmm mmm. The room was very neat and tidy and a lovely surprise was the broad selection of latest in-house movies, which were complimentary! I would definitely recommend the Country Comfort to anyone who wants to stay in Terrigal. It was great value for money all round and in a very handy centralised position in Terrigal. :-)" - Anonymous
"Reception was closed at 8.45pm when I arrived (Sunday night) and when the owner did get there after 20 minutes he did not have the reservation. When I finally got to the room it had a foul musky smell. At $127 per night this was by far the worst value for money room I have ever encountered." - Anonymous
