"The hotel was very nice - old style the fire place was lovely to sit beside and the staff where wonderful & friendly.
Although at first the hotel did have the burnt wood smell(maybe needs airing)and is in need of some repair work I would definatley recommend it for anyone wishing to stay." - Anonymous
"Good breakfast. Room quite small and bed seemed shorter than a normal bed. For some reason, the pillows had a bad smell to them even though linen seemed clean. Curtains did not fully close thus light flooded in in the morning. Although it was a Saturday night, the bar area was not open, although perhaps bar in restaurant (in which we didn't eat) was open. Enjoyed the open fire place, and pleased that it had off-street parking. Staff friendly, although request for wine glasses gave us two old water glasses..." - Anonymous
