"Great value hotel, Excellent location, very clean. Rooms very compact. Ideal, if you just need to spend a night or a couple in Auckland and you are on a budget." - KATE RAVEN
"Booked and paid for the previous night so I could occupy the room when I arrived am. as the check-in time was 2pm, only to find that the room was "Being cleaned"-Seemed strange.Had to wait.(Why would you re-clean a room which hadn't been used?)
Expected it to be small,which it was.
Bed was fine as was the shower (2 most important things).Bizarre to find things like a washing machine & heated towel rail in the room with notices saying they were not connected.
Carpet was stained and S.Steel Bench-top yucky looking,
Very compact bathroom,but excellent for multi-tasking!
Breakfast, good value.
Overall,I think good value for money,in a prime location.Would stay there again as a low-budget alternative,but wouldn't recommend it for your honeymoon !" - Anonymous
"The hotel is located in a very convenient location near Queen Street. There is no airconditioning so you have to open the window in summer. However, there are Korean K-TV and bar just right downstairs and you can hear people drinking and yelling throughout the night in weekends. The hotel staff are nice and helpful. There is Citi Car Parking station located in Durham Street West. Best access is to go up Wyndham Street from Queen Street, turn left at the first lights into Albert Street and head down the ramp, at the bottom turn left and the entrance to the car park is on your right. Cost during weekdays is $8.00 over night if you arrive after 4pm until 9am next morning. 24hour parking is available during weekends and public holidays at the rate of $16.00. Parking tickets are available at hotel reception.
