"I loved staying at the Ambra Palace Hotel, and would stay there again. I absolutely recommend it. It was just renovated a couple of years ago and it's really beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The service folks at the desk were very nice, and the breakfast was awesome and excellent. The only downside at all to the place is that it's two blocks from the main train station, in a pretty seedy part of town. But the fact that it IS just two blocks from the Stazione Termini is a major plus if you're totally jet-lagged and don't know where anything is in Rome. You just get off the train, walk five minutes through scuzzville, and go to sleep in a beautiful room. " - Anonymous

From "Leonardo da Vinci" airport in Fiumicino , we suggest to take shuttle train "Leonardo Express" leaving every 30 minutes and getting to the Central railway station Termini (5 minutes walking distance to the hotel) in half an hour.
Taxi approx. 30 minutes.

From airport "G.B. Pastine" in Ciampino:
shuttle bus until Central railway station Termini.
Taxi approx. 30 minutes.

By Train:
once in the Central railways station Termini use exit Via Giolitti and reach the hotel in 5 minutes walking through Via Mamiani.

By Car:
from any highway reach the ringroad Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.) Take exit 1 Via Appia, direcion city centre "Roma Centro". Via takes in approx. 12 km to iazza Vittoro Emanuele, just behind the hotel.
