"The location is excellent. Its right next to the government gardens, 2 minutes away from the visitors centre and 10 mins from the lake front. The service is wondeful, and the staff is warm and friendly. The rooms in the hotel is unique, each with its own design and lay-out.
Facilities are limited (no video on demand, in room safe). However if you want bells and whistles, you will miss out on the service and character that the Princess Gate Hotel has to offer.

"Felt that they let themselves down a bit as your initial impression of the hotel is of a boutique type hotel but some of the furnishings and fittings didn''t fit in with that impression. Wasn''t the cleanest place with dirty taps in our bathroom and the spa pools had ants crawling around them. The restaurant was available on the Saturday night unless you had the meal and jazz session combined. Found that a bit strange for a hotel. Very friendly staff and as I said the initial impression was "Wow"." - Gerry Keating
