"There needs to be better directions or even a map of how to locate the hotel. There are signs once you get in the vicinity, but directions are needed from the major highways. An email should be forwarded with detailed directions, once a booking takes place." - Anonymous
"We stayed at the start and end of our 10 day trip to Budapest. When and if you can find this hotel it offers modern, clean and relatively spacious accomodation for a reasonable price considering it's Budapest. Breakfast was good compared to other hotels where we stayed in Hungary and the restaurant served very good meals for a reasonable price. Definitely a option if one has a vehicle and good map.

"We arrived by car from Ferihegy Airport to Szonyi Hotel Budapest but the Hotel was difficult to find especially because many roads in the Centre of Budapest are one-way direction. So a good route description to Szonyi Hotel could be be very usefull.
However apart from the difficulties we had in finding our way to the hotel, the hotel was very very good. " - Anonymous

Szõnyi Hotel is situated near the city centre, in the green belt of Budapest.
The family owned and operated hotel in 2003 opened its new wing with some free of charge services: wellness section with sauna, jacuzzi, salt room, 44 closed parking places, internet connection at the reception desk, playground and 21 spacious, air-conditioned rooms, where in-room amenities and facilities include bathroom, safe, mini-bar, TV (satellite channels available), telephone, Internet access, and the floor of the rooms is covered with anti-allergic carpet.
The rooms are furnished with unique furniture and comfortable beds. The hotel has 31 rooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests.
Hotel services include 24 hour reception service, room service, buffet breakfast, restaurant with excellent Hungarian cuisine, private/meeting rooms, beer garden, event organisation, hotel car park for cars and buses, laundry service, safe, Internet corner, garden and playground. Onsite leisure facilities: jacuzzi (9.6 square metre), sauna, saltroom. Dental service and tennis court renting are available with prearrangement.
