"Nice hotel in good area of town. Internet use (5 euro/30 mins.) and parking (20 euro/day) were overpriced. Hotel was unable to deliver the car until after 8 a.m. because the attendants weren't working. Last day they just handed us the keys. The street leaving the parking lot leads directly to a street market making it impossible to get through and we had to go down a one way street in the opposite direction." - Anonymous

From Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA): Approximate driving time is 10 minutes and distance is 6 kilometres (4 miles).
Driving directions: From Catania Airport head towards and go through Via Fontanarossa. Enter Catane and continue on the SP70. Leave Catane and continue on the SP70. Go through the Piazza Paolo Borsellino and turn right. Continue on the Circumvallazione di Via Dusmet. Turn left on the Via Cardinale Beato G.B. Dusmet and go through the Piazza dei Martiri. Turn right on the Via Rabbordone. Turn left on the Corso Martiri della Libertà. Turn left on the Via Cosentino. Turn left on the Via Umberto I, then left on the Via Etnea.
Catania can be explored on foot or by bus. A hire car would be useful to explore the wider area.
