"thank you for the oppunity to do this. I really like the Academy as it has been in the same family for years. We have often stayed there as its close to the airport, has a restaurant, always clean but importantly to me i like to stay there as often i pick up my husband at midnight from the airport and i feel safe there, and dont have to go out to eat and as i mention feel quite relaxed at leaving very late on my own." - fay silcock

Only Motor Lodge directly opposite Canterbury University and closest to College of Education. Licensed restaurant on premises open for breakfast and dinner 7 days and lunch 3 days. Studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units available with queen and super king size beds. 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom fully self contained townhouses available for short or long term. Only 8 minutes by car from airport and city centre. Close to Westpactrust stadium, Riccarton and Addington raceways, railway station, Deans Bush, Mona Vale. All rooms non smoking. Quiet location, not on a main road.

Taxi from airport costs approx $18, from railway station approx $15. Creyke Road runs off either Clyde or Ilam roads. Clyde and Ilam Roads run off Riccarton Road or Memorial Avenue.
