"Excellent central location but quiet and not on a busy street. We had excellent rooms on the outside of the hotel. Friendly reception and bar staff. Did not use the dining room. Our only complaint was that we got back at 11.05pm on a Sunday evening the bar had closed and we could not get a coffee or a drink. Free water is a nice touch but we would have preferred a hospitality tray.

"We had a wonderful time in both Valencia and the Astoria Palace. It was my wifes 30th birthday and before we even arrived in Valencia the hotel had booked a table at a brilliant restaurant and arranged a Cava Breakfast in bed on the big day.
Our room (401) had a small balcony and was a really good size, it was outstandingly clean with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was really good and because of its really fantastic location we did not need to use the hotel restaurant as there were loads of bars and restaurants really close by.
